Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information LockboxKit collects when you use lockboxkit.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have. LockboxKit is operated by Velorank LLC, doing business as Lockbox Kit, which is responsible for your information under this policy. The short version: we collect only what we need to deliver your files and run the site. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use advertising trackers.

What we collect

When you download a free resource: your email address, the resource you asked for, the page you signed up from, and the date.

When you buy a kit: checkout runs on Link, Stripe's checkout, which sells the kit to you as merchant of record. Link collects your payment details, name, email address, and billing address, works out any sales tax, and processes the payment. We receive your email address, what you bought, the amount, and an order reference, and we can see the name and billing address you entered in our Stripe account. We never see or store your full card number. Link's privacy policy covers how Link handles your payment information.

When you browse the site: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It records the page you viewed, the site that sent you, your general location (country, region, and city), and your device, operating system, and browser. It doesn't use cookies. It counts unique visitors with a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, so it can't follow you across other websites or connect a visit to your email address. We remove download keys and order numbers from page addresses before anything is sent.

When you email us: your email address and whatever you include in your message.

We don't ask for, and you shouldn't send us, your clients' personal information.

How we use it

• To deliver the files you asked for or bought
• To send occasional emails about new resources, which you can stop anytime
• To handle refunds and help with download problems
• To answer you when you contact us
• To see which pages are useful and fix what isn't working
• To meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements

Emails and unsubscribing

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Click it and we'll stop sending them. We may still email you about something you bought, such as help with a download. Receipts and refund confirmations for purchases come from Link.

Cookies

lockboxkit.com doesn't set cookies to track you or to show you ads, and our analytics doesn't use cookies at all. When you check out, Link and Stripe use their own cookies on their checkout pages to process your payment and prevent fraud. Their policies cover those cookies.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

We use these service providers to run LockboxKit. Each one gets only what it needs to do its job for us:

• Stripe and Link: checkout, payments, sales tax, receipts, refunds, and fraud prevention
• Supabase: the database that stores sign-up and order records
• Vercel: website hosting and analytics
• An email delivery service: sending the emails you signed up for

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If LockboxKit is sold or merged with another business, your information may transfer to the new owner, and this policy will still apply to it.

How long we keep it

• Sign-ups: we keep your email address and download record until you ask us to delete them. Deleting them also turns off your download link.
• Purchases: we keep order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
• Analytics: kept only as summary counts. Visitor hashes are discarded after 24 hours.

Your choices and deleting your data

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email hello@lockboxkit.com from the address you used with us, with "Delete my data" in the subject line. We'll confirm when it's done. We may need to keep purchase records that tax law requires, but we'll delete everything else.

For information tied to a purchase, such as payment details, billing address, and receipts, you can also ask Link directly through Link support. Link deletes that information from its records and from ours.

Depending on where you live, you may have more privacy rights under your state's law. Email us and we'll help.

Security

Sign-up and order records live in a database that only our server can reach, and we use established providers for payments and hosting. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security.

Children

LockboxKit is built for working real estate professionals. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we'll let subscribers know by email.
